Yes, there is a real Norma.  We didn’t make her up.  She is a Brazilian (from the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais) now residing in the USA.  She’s been honing her culinary skills for years and until recently only family, friends and a select group of co-workers have had the delightful experience of enjoying her cooking.

As you might imagine, Norma is something of a perfectionist.  Though she learned to cook in the USA, her foods and dressings are imaginative blends of North and South American flavors.  Even her traditional dressings, like Balsamic Vinaigrette and Caesar have a special something that sets them apart.

Until recently, Norma’s professional life as a successful Realtor precluded commercializing these products.  But we are happy to say that 20 years in real estate were enough.

Norma has finally been persuaded to share the most important secret of her cooking:  her soon to be famous “Green Stuff”.  Actually it’s the kids that came up with the name Green Stuff because it’s green and to this day the ingredients are a secret – not even shared among the family.

Today, you may find Norma’s Gourmet products in select high end stores, restaurants and caterers in Brazil.
